OLD GOA: In a bid to make ‘Swayampurna Goa’, ICAR signed MoU with CPRI (Central Potato Research Institute) to increase vegetable & fodder production and are looking forward to growing crops that are not cultivated in Goa.
“To make ‘Swayampurna Goa’ ICAR signed MoU with CPRI (Central Potato Research Institute) to increase vegetable & fodder production,” said Director, ICAR Shri Parveen Kumar with the team of scientists interacting with the media about the activities of ICAR, Goa.
He further said that ICAR is working on the availability of traditional Goan products-‘Mankurad’ mango/RTE livestock products like Goan sausage, shrimp/duck curry.
“Also the development of multi-stress tolerant crop/livestock varieties-Director, ICAR,” he said
