Condoling death of three power depaetment personnel, Power Minister Nilesh Cabral on Thursday government will assist the family members even though he said that they will not be able to compensate in real sense.
“The accident today at Borim Goa involving the Goa Electricity Department vehicle transporting poles to replace the poles broken by nature’s fury, wherein three of our employees were killed and 6 were badly injured ,has shocked the entire department. My salutes to the all the Departmental personnel who work in all kinds of conditions to give reliable power supply to the people of Goa,” he said in his message adding “I am deeply saddened with the incident.”
Cabral said that during this time of grief, his sympathies and thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families.
“We also stand solidly with the injured personnel and their families. Government will do all that is necessary to comfort and assist the family members, whose loss we will not be able to compensate in real sense,” he said.
The minister further said that the Government is also committed to providing all medical care and facilities to the injured personnel so that they recovery very fast and resume duties.
