Panaji: President of India Ram Nath Kovind will be the chief guest for the inauguration of the cultural programmes for the 60th year of Goa Liberation.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said the president will inaugurate the programnes at Panjim Gymkhana, on December 19 this month.
The first meeting of the State Celebration committee met today under the chairmanship chief minister.
Dy Chief Ministers Babu Kavlekar, Babu Azgaonkar, Opposition leader Digambar Kamat, formeer chief minister Pratapsing Rane, Dy Chief Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, MLAs Francis Silveira, Tony Fernandes were also present.
