PANAJI: The Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, powered by Priority Constructions and organised under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association (GTTA) at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, witnessed thrilling action as Ishita Colaso and Aaron Farias dominated the event. Ishita clinched a rare triple crown, winning the U15 Girls, U19 Girls, and Women’s singles titles, while Aaron captured a double crown with victories in the U19 Boys and Men’s singles categories.
The finals across age groups offered intense battles. In the U11 section, Ishaan Colaso defeated Ashank Dalvi 3-1, while Anaya Shukla blanked Aarna Walavalkar 3-0. In the U13 categories, Ruhaan Shaikh edged out Yug Prabhu 3-2 in a thrilling boys’ final, and Aarna Lotlikar narrowly overcame Sachi Dessai 3-2 in the girls’ final.
In the U15 Boys category, Chandan Caro secured a 3-1 victory over Ruhaan, though he later fell to Aaron Farias 3-2 in the U19 Boys final. In senior events, Ishita overpowered Urvi Surlakar 3-1 to claim the Women’s singles title, while Aaron held his nerve to beat Dheeraj Rai 4-3 in the Men’s final.
Veterans’ titles went to Sandeep D’Mello (40+), Kalyanaraman B (50+), and Joseph Sequeira (60+), with Jesus D’Costa (40+), Ratnadeep Shivani (50+), and Dinesh Shetty (60+) finishing as runners-up.
The finals were attended by key dignitaries, including Parind Nachinolkar, Managing Director of Priority Constructions; Christopher Menezes, Secretary, GTTA; Sanjeev Sardessai, Chairman – Centenary Celebrations; Tanmay Kholkar, Secretary of Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias; and Edwin Menezes, Vice President, GTTA.
