Panjim: The Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, organised under the Goa Table Tennis Association and powered by Priority Constructions, has reached the final stages with exciting matchups across age categories.
In the U13 Boys category, Ruhaan Shaikh and Yug Prabhu secured their spots in the final. Ruhaan impressed with a dominant 3-0 victory over Yuvaan Sanke in the semi-finals, while Yug edged past Vedant Wagle 3-2 in a tense five-set clash. Earlier, quarter-final exits included Kaushik Nair, Kavish Dalvi, Noel Kurian, and Ishaan Colaso, who all put up spirited performances.
The U13 Girls semi-finals witnessed thrilling contests as Aarna Lotlikar staged a comeback to beat Aayushi Amonkar 3-2, while Sachi Desai recorded a commanding 3-0 win over Gianna George to reach the final. Quarter-finalists Samaira Verlekar, Inara D’Souza, Tisha Shaikh, and Kavyaa Khalap bowed out after strong displays.
The U15 Girls category also produced an exciting final line-up. Top seed Ishita Colaso cruised past Tisha Shaikh 3-0, while Gianna George caused an upset by defeating second seed Aarna Lotlikar 3-0 in the semi-finals. Earlier quarter-final exits included Kavyaa Khalap, Aayushi Amonkar, Samaira Verlekar, and Anaya Srivastava.
The tournament promises high-octane action in the finals as the young talents vie for the top honours.
