PANAJI: The Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, powered by Priority Constructions and organised under the aegis of the Goa Table Tennis Association, is set for thrilling Under-11 finals in both boys’ and girls’ categories.
In the Boys’ U11 semi-finals, top seed Ishaan Colaso cruised past Aarish Shaikh with a dominant 3-0 victory, while Ashank Dalvi battled past a resilient Shreysht Rane 3-1 to book his place in the title clash.
The Girls’ U11 category witnessed equally exciting action. In the quarter-finals, Anaya Shukla swept past Sanaz Shaikh 3-0, Tvisha Kotkar blanked Khwahish Pillai 3-0, Claire George beat Megan Xavier 3-1, and Aarna Walavalkar stunned second seed Shaurya Dessai 3-0.
The semi-finals produced high-quality table tennis, with Anaya extending her unbeaten run by defeating Tvisha 3-0, while Aarna held her nerve in a thrilling five-set encounter to edge past Claire 3-2, setting up a much-anticipated Anaya–Aarna final.
Meanwhile, in the Girls’ U13 quarter-finals, Aayushi Amonkar downed Samaira Verlekar 3-1, Aarna Lotlikar prevailed over Inara D’Souza 3-1, Gianna George defeated Tisha Shaikh 3-1, and Sachi Dessai produced a clinical 3-0 win over Kavyaa Khalap to advance to the next round.
The finals promise intense battles as Goa’s brightest young paddlers fight for the U11 crowns.
