Margao: Priority Titans secured a commanding five-wicket victory over Canacona Mathagram United in the ‘Alcon GSB Unity Cup 2025’ T20 cricket tournament, organized by Goa GSB Sports and Charitable Trust in association with Goa Saraswat Samaj. The match, played under floodlights at MCC Margao ground, saw Titans chase down the target with eight balls to spare.
After winning the toss, Priority Titans opted to bowl first, restricting Canacona Mathagram United to 170/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Sumiran Amonkar was the top scorer for Canacona Mathagram United, smashing a quick 38 off 20 balls, while Nikit Naik Dalal (35), Sahil Mandrekar (25), and Viraj Puranik (23) chipped in with valuable contributions. Titans’ bowler Kapil Sinai Borker was the pick of the attack, bagging 2 wickets for 23 runs.
In response, Priority Titans successfully chased down the target, finishing at 175/5 in 18.4 overs. Sachin Sardessai and Anish Mahambre set the platform with a crucial 69-run second-wicket partnership, followed by a match-winning 66-run stand between Samar Dubhashi and Ved Mahambre.
