SALIGAO: To end the water woes of the Nerul and Reis Magos, MLA Kedar Naik today commissioned works worth 1.5 cr of laying pipeline with pressure pump facilities.
“Since liberation, people are facing issues of water scarcity and I had been raising this issues in the Assembly. Previously nothing was done on this issue, just a mere adjustment,” said Naik.
He further said that all the panchayats in the constiency were told to come together to get a permanent solution for the problem.
“Being at the tail end, the people were facing water scarcity issues as the water pressure wasn’t there,” he added.
Naik also said that the PWD made various efforts to find a solution but it could not happen but the end new pipeline was the solution.
“I my self was moving with the file in govt department and it was finally done,” he added.
