VALPOI: Valpoi Police have registered an FIR against four persons for assault over property dispute.
SDPO Bicholim Jivba Dalvi informed that One person namely Arjun Sawant, age 39 years, r/o Pali, Sattari Goa lodged his complaint against accused persons namely Devidas s/o Pandurang Sawant, Raja s/o Pandurang Sawant Dishanti w/o Devidas Sawant.
Also Reshma w/o Raja Sawant who are also their neighbour for assaulting him and his niece with wooden Danda and Koyta over property issued on 03/12/2024 at 13.30 hrs.
The accused persons and complainant family are relatives and not in good terms.
An FIR under sections 118(1) r/w 3(5) BNS has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
