MAPUSA: The North Goa Planning and Authority (NGPDA) has given additional time till July 25 for stakeholders to provide feedback and objections about the draft Downtown Mapusa (Phase I) plan.
A notification to this effect was issued today by Town & Country Planning Dept today. The objections are to be addressed in writing to the Member Secretary, North Goa Planning and Development Authority, St. Inez, Panaji.
TCP has also approved change in RGP 2021 using provisions under section 17(2) of the TCP Act to rectify ‘inadvertent’ errors in specified zones of 9 plots. 7 of the approvals at Chodem, Virdi, Parcem, Resi Magor, Paliem and Curtorim(2 plots) are for change of zone to settlement, one at Cacora is for conversion to institutional zone and one at Colva is for Deletion of Proposed Road.
TCP Dept has invited feedback from public within one month on applications of change of zone in Regional Plan of Goa(RGP) 2021 and the ODP of Calangute -Candolim of 6 plots under newly introduced Section 39A of TCP Act.
The applications are for change of zone at Carapur(176/1), Assagao(101/1 part), Calangute(76/0 part), Mandrem(124/0 part) , Mayem (339/1 part) and Morjim(122/1-A). Section 39 A of TCP Act mandates that change of zone applications must be notified and public feedback must sought on the change before giving final approval.
