VASCO: A physically challenged resident of Vaddem, Vasco, was allegedly assaulted and abused in a shocking incident of trespass.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 1:55 PM on August 4, when two accused persons—Caitan Xavier of Vaddem and Santosh Ajgaonkar of Vasco—allegedly entered the property of the complainant, Sankalp Naik, without permission and with criminal intent.
Police said the duo not only trespassed but also verbally abused Naik using filthy language. Caitan Xavier allegedly slapped the complainant on his face, while Santosh Ajgaonkar reportedly struck him with a fist blow, causing bleeding injuries to his lips.
Based on the complaint, a case has been registered at Vasco Police Station. PSI Mayur Sawant is conducting further investigations into the matter.
