Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant along with BJP State President Sadanand Tanavade were present for filing of nominations.
“We have filed 3 nominations of Ramesh Tawadkar for the post of Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly. The elections for choosing the speaker is due of Tuesday,” said CM Sawant
He further said that Tawadkar is likely to get an additional 2 votes.
“We have support of 20 BJP, 2 MGP and 3 Independent MLA’s support,” he added
Sawant also thanked all for their continued support and seeked their blessings for continuing the all round development of the State.
Goa Governor P. S. Sreedharan Pillai on March 14 had administered oath to MLA-elect Ganesh Gaonkar as pro-tem Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly ahead of the session called on Tuesday.
