PANAJI: Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Saturday called on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai, extending festive greetings on Ganesh Chaturthi while also underlining the importance of strengthening ties between the two neighbouring states.
Rane said the occasion was not only about offering prayers for the well-being of citizens but also about reaffirming commitments to work together on key issues of development. “On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, I conveyed my best wishes to Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis. Together, we prayed for the prosperity of our people and discussed avenues of cooperation that can benefit both states,” Rane stated.
Highlighting Fadnavis’ leadership, Rane added, “His guidance remains invaluable, and I look forward to working closely with him for the betterment and progress of Goa and Maharashtra.”
