MUMBAI: Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane addressed the 8th edition of CII Hospital Tech 2025 on the theme “Healthcare Roadmap for Viksit Bharat.”
Rane said, “We carry the responsibility of shaping a system that ensures universal access, embraces innovation, and places the well-being of citizens at the very core of national progress.”
Presenting the Goa Model of Healthcare, Rane highlighted reforms and innovations that have positioned the state as a benchmark in health delivery. These include advanced medical infrastructure, adoption of universal digital health records, strengthening preventive and community care through health camps, impactful public–private collaborations, a strong focus on women and child health, and investment in workforce development.
“Our integrated approach demonstrates how state-level initiatives can align seamlessly with the national mission of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. A developed India must rest on the foundation of healthy citizens, and together, we can make this vision a reality,” the Health Minister said.
The event was attended by senior leaders from healthcare and policy, including Maharashtra Health Minister Prakash Abitkar, Joy Chakraborty, Padma Dr Ramakant Deshpande, Dr Hardik Ajmera, Rizwan Koita, Thierry van Helden, Eva Verstraelen and Harjinder Kang.
