PANAJI: To add colours and flavours to the research environment of ICAR-CCARI, the newly formed ‘Ladies recreation club’ organized ‘Ethno-food platter competition’ and ‘Rangoli competition’ on 18th September 2021.
Women staff and spouses/ daughters/ mothers/ sisters of male staff participated in these events with lot of enthusiasm. Mrs Anjana Parveen Kumar, the club’s Chief Patron, was at the forefront to motivate the participants.
The ‘Rangoli competition’ had a plethora of designs and take-home messages of women empowerment, corona awareness and tribute to corona warriors. There was a wide choice of beautiful colours ranging from traditional to modern art. The ‘Ethno-food platter competition had range of entries and platters from various coastal states like Goa, Maharashtra and Kerala.
The competitions were judged by internal judges and a special judge, Mr Shubhendra Mehta, a former chef with international experience.
