Ponda MLA Ravi Naik has tested positive for COVID19 on Friday.
Taking to hi9s social media account Naik tweeted that he is tested positive for COVID19 and is asymptomatic.
“I have opted for home quarantine and I request everyone who have come in contact with me to get tested” he said.
Naik is the sixth politician to test positive for the virus.
Clafasio Dias, Churchill Alemao, Shripad Naik Nilkanth Halarnkar and Sudin DHavalikar have tested positive for the virus earlier.
