PONDA: Ponda BJP candidate Ravi Naik said that if BJP is voted to power, he will make Ponda a third district which is his dream for the common man and that they would not be forced to travel to distant places like Panjim for their official work.
This would help nearby constituency people from Valpoi, Sakhlim, Mollem, Collem, Savordem, and Ponda taluka to get done their work at the nearest place in Ponda, which is at the Centre of Goa.
“If we get approval for the third district, we will get more funds from Union Government and more finance to upgrade medical facilities at Ponda sub-district hospital,” he said.
He said for the sake of Ponda, people should unite.
“If people don’t want tax burden, then they should elect BJP Government,” he said.
He said after the closure of mining and the Covid pandemic, Goa state income was reduced; it needed money to clear government employees’ salaries and struggle for it.
“State needs money for development, education and for that if a new government comes to power than it would hike in taxes which is not affordable to Aam Admi. If you don’t want inflation, then people should think and vote BJP,” he said.
He stated that Modi gave free vaccination and didn’t differentiate between religions and caste.
He also challenged MGP president Deepak Dhavlikar to discuss the issue of the Tenancy and Mundkarial cases and their effort to solve these cases.
