PANJIM: The state recorded 476 new positive cases on Friday and 245 recoveries alongwith two deaths were also recorded.
45 year old male from Mandur, admitted at ESI COVID hospital, Margao with co-morbid conditions expired today. 49 year old male from housing board Sankhalim, admitted t Goa Medical College, Bambolim with co-morbidities died today.
The death toll has reached 93 as on Friday.
Out of 3707 samples 2451 were negative, 476 are positive and 780 reports awaited.
Panjim and Porvorim seems to be becoming the new hotbeds for COVID as Panjim has 188 cases and Porvorim 136. Active cases in Chimbel have risen to 207.
Mapusa has 139 cases, Valpoi 144, Sankhali 112 and Pernem 136.
In South Goa, Margao leads with 407 active COVID cases while Vasco has 394.
