PORVORIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant launched the website of the Goa Staff Selection Commission in collaboration with Info Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd with domain name gssc.goa.gov.in today at Mantralaya, Porvorim.
Speaking on occasion, Dr Pramod Sawant said with an aim to have a fair recruitment process and to ensure that no injustice is done to any Goan youth staff selection process initiated. This will be completely transparent and merit-based recruitment to select candidates for the government job, he added.
Briefing about the selection process Chief Minister said, all departments must submit the vacant post requisition to the Commission by 1st August.
“The recruitment process will start immediately after that by publishing the advertisement on the newspaper and commission website. Exams will be carried out tentatively in September and October. Process of Refilling vacant jobs in different departments will be done by November,” he added.
Also present on the occasion Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Secretary, Chairman, Goa Staff Selection Commission, Shri. Menino D’souza & others were present.
