He was famous for his annual performance of the “Geet Ramayan” at the Shree Ram Temple in the Mestawada area of Vasco, a tradition he maintained for over 35 years.
The “Geet Ramayan” is a series of songs narrating the story of the Ramayana in Marathi. Anthony’s rendition was a highlight of the Ram Navami celebrations, drawing audiences from across Goa.
