PANAJI: The political alliance between RGP and Congress has officially come to an end, RGP Chief Manoj Parab confirmed.
Speaking to the media, Parab stated that the party had honored all alliance talks and kept its commitments, but recent developments have made continuing the partnership impossible.
“We have respected the alliance discussions fully, delaying our candidate announcements to avoid harming the alliance. However, Congress has gone ahead and announced their list unilaterally, violating the agreed protocol of joint declaration,” Parab said.
He added that RGP has not violated the principles of “Yuti Dharma” and that the decision to end the alliance reflects the party’s commitment to its values.
A committee meeting is being convened to decide RGP’s next political steps, including naming those responsible for the alliance’s failure.
