CANACONA: Stating that his primary goal is to strengthen all basic amenities across the Canacona constituency within the next one year, Minister and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar launched the road improvement and blacktopping works on the tourism-important Polem Beach road in Loliem-Polem village.
“My single and most determined goal is to strengthen basic amenities in every village of the Canacona constituency, and we are fully committed to achieving this within the next one year. This road improvement is not only to encourage tourism but also to ease daily commuting for local residents,” Tawadkar said.
The project is expected to greatly reduce the strain caused by increasing traffic, enhance convenience for tourists, and significantly improve safety for local residents.
The brief function was attended by Loliem-Polem Panchayat Sarpanch Nisha Chari, Deputy Sarpanch Pankaj Bandekar, former Sarpanch Pratija Bandekar, Panch members Chandrakant Sudhir, Ajay Lolayekar, Supriya Pagi, Canacona BJP Mandal President Prabhakar Gaonkar, Mandal workers Ashok Gaonkar and Vinay Tubki, along with local villagers.
