MOBOR: The Colva police has registered an offence against a Romanian national after he was found in possession and using satellite phone of Thuraya make with one Orange SIM card.
Since Orange SIM cards are prohibited in India, the police confiscated one from Calina Virgil, a Romanian national who lived in Bucharest, Romania, at a starred resort in Cavelossim-Mobor.
Sections 6(1A) of the Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act of 1933 and Section 20 of the Indian Telegraph Act of 1885 have been used by the police to register an offense.
