On Friday, at the Rosary Church ground in Navelim, Rosary High School Navelim demonstrated their prowess in the U-15 Women’s Football Tournament organized by the Navelim Sporting Club. The team emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Our Lady of Poor High School Tilamol.
The goals were scored by Royce Pereira, Christine, and Valanka, each contributing one goal to the team’s triumph. Royce Pereira’s outstanding performance earned her the Player of the Match award, presented by Joaquim Pereira, a PE teacher.
In a separate match held at the same venue, Perpetual Succour Convent High School Navelim also achieved a 3-0 victory against St. Jude Betalbatim. Clea Colaco scored two goals, while Venicia Carvalho added one to secure the win for Perpetual Succour Convent.
