Margao: In a vibrant celebration of youth talent and leadership, the Rotary Club of Margao Midtown, in collaboration with Ravindra Bhavan Margao, hosted the prestigious Nakshatrazz 2025 Youth Leadership Awards on February 4, 2025. This event, held at Ravindra Bhavan Margao, was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Roque Gabriel Wiseman Pinto and Mr. Yogiraj Kamat, and saw the participation of 20 schools along with 100 special children.
The Nakshatrazz 2025 Youth Leadership Awards were a testament to the community’s commitment to nurturing young talent. The event was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Roque Gabriel Wiseman Pinto, Professor of Pathology Department and former Dean of Goa University, who served as the Chief Guest. Mr. Yogiraj Kamat, President of the Goa Swimming Association and President of BPS Sports Club, was the Guest of Honour.
Organized by the Rotary Club of Margao Midtown in association with Ravindra Bhavan Margao, the awards ceremony was a grand affair that brought together students and special children from across the region. Twenty schools participated, showcasing their skills in a variety of creative and competitive activities. These events included face painting, making of newspaper, group singing, effective public speaking, skit, quiz, Just a Minute, Voice of Nakshatrazz, Group Dancing, Vision 2030, and Rangoli.
Dr. Roque Gabriel Wiseman Pinto delivered a highly motivational speech, inspiring both teachers and students with his words. His address highlighted the importance of such events in fostering leadership and talent among the youth. Mr. Yogiraj Kamat also praised the Rotary Club for organizing the event and congratulated all the participating schools for their enthusiastic involvement.
The diverse range of activities at Nakshatrazz 2025 was designed to promote youth leadership and talent, providing a platform for young individuals to showcase their skills and creativity. This event not only celebrated the achievements of the participants but also underscored the community’s dedication to supporting and empowering the next generation of leaders.
