PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that the state government has sent a detailed report to the centre as to how the state plans to spend the Rs 300 crore allocated by the center in view of 60 years of liberation of the state.
“The report has gone from Home Department to Niti Ayog and the Niti Ayog has already sanctioned it. The funds will come,” said CM Sawant
He further said that consultants have been appointed for centrally sponsored schemes on success rate based payment terms.
“Consultants will help the government in the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), so that the process can be streamlined and the chances of the state being allotted the centrally sponsored schemes is increased.
CM also said that he will release a detailed official report on the same shortly.
Recently, State Government had cleared dues of more than Rs. 400 crores of the several MSME agencies, providing them with the much needed liquidity in this troubled pandemic time.
