ANJUNA: A Russian national has been charged by Anjuna police for violating the Foreigners Act by remaining in Goa without proper travel documentation.
Police say the event was discovered after ANC PSI Manjunath Naik submitted a complaint.
Daniil Kytuakov, age 26, was discovered living in Oxel, Siolim, on December 9 at approximately 9.10 p.m., without the necessary travel documentation.
Sections 7(1) and 7(3)(iii) of the Foreigners Order, 1948, as well as Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946, were utilized to book the accused.
Additional investigations are being conducted to determine the facts behind Kytuakov’s stay and to pursue legal action, according to Anjuna police.
