PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the salary scale for nurses pursuing Post graduation and working in Goa Medical College (GMC) will be revised.
CM Sawant was speaking after inaugurating the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) / IVF Centre at Goa Medical College.
“Salary scale for nurses pursuing Post graduation and working in Goa Medical College (GMC) will be revised,’ said Sawant.
He further said that it is a significant day in the journey of providing comprehensive healthcare services to the people of Goa.
“The advanced facility shall provide hope and solutions to those who have faced challenges on their path to parenthood. Dr Kedar Padte’s expertise will be a cornerstone of this new centre,’ said Sawant.
Health Minister Viswajit Rane said that together, with the expertise of exceptional individuals in the state like Dr Kedar Phadte, we can elevate Goa to new heights.
“The GMC’s dedication to providing the best care is truly commendable and we are constantly working to ensure we are on par with international standards. This historic achievement makes our hospital the first in the country to offer free IVF through CSR,” said Rane.
The minister said that many have faced the heartache of giving up on the dream of having a child, but we remain steadfast in our efforts to ensure the people of Goa receive the highest quality care.
