MARGAO: Salcete FC defeated Vasco City Sports & Cultural Club 1/0, to emerge champs of the GFA U-17 Division 2 tournament played at Nagoa Panchayat ground.
Pio Gomindes scored the all-important goal in the 35th minute of the match.
GFA President Dr Caitan Fernandes, Ravindra Cabral, Anthony Fernandes, Anthony Pango and Brahmanand Shankhwalkar were present for prize distribution.
