SALIGAO: Saligao police have arrested a Satara-Maharashtra native on charges of committing theft.
According to police, the accused has been identified as Bhushan Jitendra Jadhav, 24 yrs r/o Dhule, Satara Maharastra.
The police said that the accused committed theft of Realme mobile, Bose Bluetooth speaker, ATM card of Mahindra Bank and subsequent withdrawal of Rs 80,000 in 8 different transactions, Mahindra XVU 500 car key other documents of the car all w/Rs 1,50,000.
One Dillzan s/o Naville Wadia r/o Saligao, a native of Parel Mumbai, about the theft of the above articles from his house at Saligao.
Saligao police station PI Milind Bhuimbar, PSI Ulhas Khot, ASI Anil Kerkar, Police constable Sandesh Aroskar, Vijay Palni, Bhagwant Gawandi immediately swung into the action and on the tip of information nabbed the accused from one hotel room at Sawantwadda, Mandrem from where he was planning to leave Goa and have recovered all the stolen articles and Rs 77,500 cash from his possession.
