SALIGAO: In a breakthrough, Saligao Police station, headed by PI. Sachin Lokre and staff cracked the blind murders case of deceased Vishnu Dhauskar, a retired police officer who had been missing since 24/07/2022.
His dead body was found on 25/07/2022 in an old, dilapidated house at Salmona Saligao concerned in Saligao PS Crime No. 28/2022 U/s 302,392 IPC.
The accused, namely Ranveer s/o Bajnath Yadhav, age 25 yrs, r/o Kamalpur, Darbhanga Bihar, was apprehended in Bihar. The accused, Ranveer Yadhav after killing the above deceased, stole away Gold ornaments consisting of one gold chain, one finger ring, one red mobile phone and cash of Rs. 15,000/- all W/Rs. 1,75,000/- from the deceased body and fled away to his native place Bihar. The team consisting of PSI Navneet Goltekar, HC Tarak Kundaikar, PC Nitesh Salgaonkar, and PC Gaurish Redkar, through meticulous planning and coordination with Bihar police staff, the accused was nabbed in Bihar.
The accused is placed under all the stolen property is recovered at the instance of the accused person. The accused is presently in police custody. Further investigation is in progress with PI Shri. Sachin Lokre.
