RIBANDAR: A Sampark Sabha was held at IRBn Ribander, chaired by DGP Goa, Alok Kumar, IPS, and attended by DIG HQ, Ajay Krishan Sharma, IPS, along with the Commandant, officers, and all staff of the Ribandar Camp. This interactive session provided a platform for senior officers to engage with personnel, address concerns, enhance welfare measures, and improve coordination within the force.
DGP Goa highlighted the Communication and Grievance Redressal System, emphasizing its role in providing a structured platform for personnel to voice their concerns directly to senior officers. This system aims to ensure transparency in addressing grievances, welfare issues, and professional challenges.
He also briefed the staff on Operational Preparedness, stressing the importance of discipline, professionalism, and efficiency within the force. He underscored the need for supervisory officers to regularly update personnel on new policies, procedures, and expectations in law enforcement.
Special emphasis was placed on Boosting Morale and Welfare Initiatives, including:
Recognizing outstanding personnel to motivate the force
Addressing welfare concerns such as accommodation and diet
Strengthening camaraderie and teamwork among personnel
Before concluding, DGP Goa urged senior officers to take direct feedback from personnel regarding on-ground challenges. This, he noted, would contribute to better policymaking and improved internal management.
The Sampark Sabha was more than just a meeting—it served as a mentorship and welfare mechanism aimed at enhancing the efficiency and well-being of IRBn personnel.
