CANACONA – 19 meritorious students from as many as 19 schools of Canacona taluka were felicitated with ‘Samrat Student Foundation’ award by Samrat Club Balli-Fatarpa.
Cacoda ITI Centre Instructor Vijay Chari was present as the Chief Guest of the event. Shri Mallikarjun High School, Canacona Headmistress Varsha Naik Gaonkar, former president of Curchorem Samrat Club Deepti Rampurkar, Representative of Samrat Student Foundation Vitthaldas Kamat , Samrat Club, Balli-Fatorpa founder president Tukaram Govekar were present as the guests of honour.
The glittering program was held in the hall of Shri Mallikarjuna Vidyalaya at Char-Rasta Canacona.
On this occasion, Lakshmi Phaldesai, Ditya Pagi, Nishitha Kankonkar, Ansha Naik, Ayush Jadhav, Pratim Velip, Siya Coutinho, Vaishnavi Komarpant, Sudarshan Gawkar, Soham Velip, Arya Naik, Pushkar Desai, Tanvi Velip, Samrudhi Devidas, Mayank Velip, Anisha Borges, Sneharsh Behra, Ashvek Gaonkar and Rutwik Velip
The awards were distributed at the hands of the chief guest and guests of honour. Earlier Govekar welcomed, while the program was moderated by Sonia Patekar and Bharti Patekar proposed vote of thanks.
