PANAJI: Minister for TCP Vishwajit Rane today clarified that the conversation sanads issued based on ODPs will not be withdrawn, but no new fresh sanads would be issued for now pending scrutiny.
In a direct attack on LoP Michael Lobo, Rane said that the monstrosity carried out by Lobo with regards to ODPs will be exposed one by one.
“Who is Michael Lobo? I don’t know him; only remember this name as a criminal,” said Rane when questioned about the allegations.
He further informed that his department will not cancel the already issues sanads while stating that those who have already applied or are in the process of applying will be put on hold.
“The decision on this will only be taken once the scrutiny of ODPs is complete,” he added.
Meanwhile, Rane said that the monstrosity carried out by Michael Lobo with regards to ODPs will be exposed one by one and that he will place data of his deeds in the assembly.
Yesterday, the Town and Country Planning Department wrote to the District Collectors informing them that NoCs, Reports or Recommendations based on suspended ODPs be treated as withdrawn.
“Having reference to the same, you are hereby informed that any NOCs/reports/ recommendation given by the Department based on above referred suspended ODPs be treated as withdrawn,” the circular states.
