Panaji: The precious and unique tradition of Hinduism is the ‘Guru-Shishya tradition’! The tradition of expressing gratitude to the Guru on the day of Gurupurnima has been going on since time immemorial. This year, on 21st July 2024, Sanatan Sanstha has organized ‘Gurupurnima Mahotsav’ at 75 places across the country and at 6 places in Goa. This festival will be organized in Marathi, Hindi, English, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam etc languages across the country. All the nation and religion loving Hindus are requested to take advantage of this precious festival together with their families.
‘Gurupurnima Mahotsav’ will start with Shri Vyasa pujan and worship of H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj photo. Scholars will offer profound guidance on spiritual enlightenment and the establishment of blissful harmony, nurturing values of Hindu nationhood. In Goa ‘Gurupurnima Mahotsav’ will be celebrated at Sri Siddhapurush Narayanadev hall, Kankaband, Mapusa (5 to 7 pm); Saint Gadge Baba Hall, Pundalik Nagar, Porvari (5 to 7 p.m.); Delmon Auditorium, Sakhali (5 to 7 p.m.); Sri Navadurga Hall, Bori, Ponda (5pm to 7pm); ACT Halls, Above State Bank, Bolshe Plaza, Bolshe, Near Big Foot Chowk, Ghogal, Madgaon (5pm to 7pm) and G.M. Celebration Hall, Sristhal, Canocona (4pm to 6pm).
Online Guru Purnima Festival : Sanatan Sanstha has organized ‘Online Gurupurnima Mahotsav’ in Marathi, Hindi, English, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam languages so that devotees from home and abroad can enjoy Gurupurnima.
