SANCOALE: The Panaji Police have booked a Sancoale resident for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman through derogatory social media posts.
According to the police, a Cansaulim resident lodged a complaint alleging that the alleged accused Narayan Datta Naik of Savorfond, Sancoale, had posted false, derogatory, and provocative statements on various social media channels abusing his daughter-in-law.
These posts allegedly outraged the modesty of his daughter-in-law. An offence has been registered under Sections 79, 353(2), and 356(1) of the BNS Act.
