OLD GOA: Old Goa police arrested four accused in the attempt to murder case which occurred at a restaurant in Santa Cruz on Saturday night.
Two accused persons namely Anil Godinho and Sunil, both from Old Goa, along with others assaulted a taxi driver Latif Talvai from Indira Nagar, Chimbel.
Talvai was assaulted by the accused with a knife and glass bottles with the intention to kill him due to which Talvai sustained multiple injuries on his back and abdominal region.
Old Goa Police formed 3 teams, one team was sent to Maharashtra and 2 teams were working in coordination in Goa.
The police received Credible information that the accused person namely Sunil Godinho after the commission of the offence proceeded to Shirala Maharashtra along with another accused person. According team was formed and deputed in search of the said accused persons.
Wherein after meticulous planning Old Goa Police team managed to apprehend the accused persons namely Vijay @ Sunil Jose Godinho r/o Old Goa, and Rajvir Sharma r/o Carambolim Goa. They were traced at Shitakant Sangli Maharashtra. The minor was produced before CWC and sent to Apna Ghar.
