VASCO: The Rotaract Club of Vasco da Gama, Rotary Club of Vasco Port Town, and Samrat Club of Vasco da Gama have collaboratively organized “Saptahchi Chitrakatha,” an exhibition of canvas paintings that narrate the story of Saptah and “Sasaay”—a visual journey through the sacred sites of Lord Damodar in Goa and Karnataka.
The exhibition features 25 meticulously crafted canvas paintings, each accompanied by a descriptive narrative that offers insights into the depicted scenes. The event was inaugurated by Industrialist and Philanthropist Narayan Rajaram Bandekar (Nana). Among the dignitaries present was Project Chairman Rohan Rajendra Bandekar who conceptualized this exhibition, the President of the Rotary Club of Vasco Port Town Mughdha Kamat, the President of Samrat Club of Vasco da Gama Sandhya Sanzgiri, and the President of the Rotaract Club of Vasco da Gama Shivam Korgaonkar.
Held at the outdoor premises of The HQ, the exhibition runs from August 6 to August 11, from 10 AM to 9 PM, and is open to the public. This event is specially organized to celebrate the 125th Shree Damodar Bhajani Saptah, offering attendees a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region through these visual stories.
