MARGAO: South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha has nicely put forth the candidature of his own son Shalom Sardinha in the Curtorim constituency. Sardinha has claimed that people are craving for a new face with a clean image in Curtorim Congress candidate. Another candidate who had gone to BJP has returned back to Congress.
Considering all this political movement by these candidates, people have lost faith in these people and are now craving a new face with a clean image.
In a press conference held in Margao, South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha said that the former Curtorim Congressman left Congress and jumped into Trinamool Congress recently and once again, he wants to join the Congress party. Whereas one more person who had gone to BJP returned to Congress.
He further added that considering all this political movement, people of Curtorim have lost faith in these candidates and are craving for a new face with a clean image. Many people from Curtorim constituency has come forward and suggested the name of my son Shalom Sardinha from Curtorim constituency this time,” Sardinha said.
When questioned more, Sardinha said that Shalom’s name has even gone to the high command of the Congress party for consideration.
Meanwhile, commenting on the Sand extraction issue, Sardinha has once again demanded Sand extraction traditionally to make it legal as sand is required for construction work.
