PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today underscored the urgent need for better coordination between the Education Department, the Art & Culture Department and music instructors, noting that the State’s substantial spending on instruments and trainers is not translating into the desired results.
Sawant said the true impact of these major investments will be felt only when all concerned agencies and teachers work in sync to ensure students receive meaningful training and visible progress in music education.
He added that stronger accountability and closer collaboration are crucial for justifying the public expenditure and improving the overall quality of music instruction in Goa’s schools.
