PANAJI: “Doctor of Forecasts Dr Pramod Sawant had forecasted former Minister Milind Naik was innocent, Siddhi Naik was drowned, Sonali Phogat had a heart attack & Mohammad Agha also drowned. He also forecasted Goa is 100 per cent Open Defecation Free & has 100 per cent Tap Water supply,” stated former Congress President Girish Chodankar.
Reacting sharply to the Clean Chit given to the Cabinet Ministers by the Chief Minister on Illegal Land Grabbing, Corruption & Illegal Activities, Girish Chodankar chose sarcasm to taunt the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
It was pure entertainment to Goans to listen to Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant giving clean chit to his own Cabinet Ministers when in reality, the whole of Goa knows that the BJP Government has received a “Certificate of Corruption for 21 Cases” from former Lokayukta and former Governor of Goa Satya Pal Malik calling Dr Pramod Sawant a “Liar”, charged Girish Chodankar.
“I hope in his desperate efforts to defend his own Ministers, the Chief Minister himself will not have to put in his papers soon. He made a similar mistake in the past when we exposed his former Cabinet Colleague Milind Naik’s involvement in a Sex Scandal. I want to once again caution him, “All is not Well”,” Girish Chodankar said.
Chodankar said this Government headed by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has become a ‘laughing stock with its goof ups on an almost daily basis.
“People of Goa will soon start observing “Anniversaries” of the dates given by the Chief Minister on “Investigating Cases”, “Restarting Mining”, “Economic Revival”, “Atal Setu Completion” etc,” said Girish Chodankar.
“I will be obliged if the Chief Minister kindly clarifies whether the SIT has completed the investigation in the Case pointed out by me based on the complaint already filed before them and whether his so-called “Clean Chit” to Ministers is based on the “Outcome of Investigation” or part of his “Habitual Failed Forecast”,” questioned Girish Chodankar.
