PANAJI: A dentist based in the capital city was cheated and scammed by an online fraudster.
As per information, the online fraudster scammed the dentist, posing as an army officer.
The scamster called the dentist posing as an army officer and cheated the doctor of Rs 90,000 under the pretext of sending 90 patients for a checkup to his clinic in Panaji.
A complaint has been lodged at the Panaji police station, and further investigation is on.
The dentist was not available for comment until the filing of this report.
