PORVORIM: The state government has notified the scheme subsidizing charter flight parking and landing fees at Goa International Airport.
Provision of Rs 5 crore has been made for this scheme in the year 2021.
This scheme will provide relaxation in landing charges of International Charters to Goa in order to attract higher number of charters and benefit overall Goa tourism industry, states the notification.
The scheme shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette from October 2021 to March 2022. Part of landing charges of international charters at Goa International Airport Dabolim, shall be borne by the Government under this scheme.
