Porvorim: An offence of theft has been registered following a complaint regarding the stealing of a two-wheeler near RG Hospital, Porvorim, Bardez.
As per police information, the complaint was registered on February 2, 2026, at around 10.24 pm, based on a written complaint filed by Ayyan Khan, major in age, a resident of H. No. A-21, opposite Presentation School, Ambaji, Fatorda, Goa.
The complainant stated that between January 31, 2026 and February 2, 2026, near RG Hospital at Porvorim, Bardez, Goa, the accused Sunil, son of Dinnanath Haldankar, resident of C-1/491, Bautawado, Assagao, Bardez, Goa, and Flat No. 03, Dangue Colony near Mahadev Temple, Mapusa, allegedly committed theft of his Aviator scooter bearing registration number GA-08-AM-8647.
The scooter, valued at approximately ₹40,000, had been parked in an open place near RG Hospital at the time of the theft.
Further investigation in the matter is in progress and is being carried out by Head Constable 5401, Vasudev Mahale.
