PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that there will be strict implementation of section 144 across the state.
He also informed that wedding and religious activities are not banner however, only with 50 people.
“Strict implementation of Section 144 will take place in the state from today. Travel, sports competitions completely closed. Weddings, religious ceremonies are not banned. But only 50 people are allowed to attend these events.” said CM Sawant
He further said that strict action will be taken if more than 50 people are found there.
“The police and the district administrations in Goa have been directed to crackdown on crowded weddings and other functions,” he added
The Goa Chief Minister informed that the state administration has asked the Government of India (GOI) for the location of oxygen supply for the Coronavirus patients. Commenting about the ongoing black marketing of Remdesivir drug and oxygen cylinders, he said that there is no black marketing of any drug in the state.
