The State Secretariat Staff on Wednesday closure of the campus for three days in wake of rising cases of COVID19 in the Secretariat.
The staffers met the chief Secretary with their grievance over rising COVID19 positive cases at Secretariat.
The employees stated that despite rise in cases there has been no remedial action from the government.
“Every department has cases but no action rom government despite requests. There is no response even to calls for 50 p.c staff to be called for work,” they said.
They said that the staffers are siutting in close proximity and there is every chance of infecting each other.
“If this continues everyone will be infected and administration will collapse,” they said.
“Not only the staff, even public visit this office even after requesting for several times to not allow public. Conveying messages is not enough but prompt action is required since this is a deadly virus,” the employees said.
