Margao: The Margao Legal Aid Cell of the V.M. Salgaocar College of Law conducted its major program – a seminar on the topic “Overview of the PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act” at Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim Salcete Goa.
The speaker for the said seminar was Ms Aloysia Andrade (Legal Officer / Case Worker at Sakhi One Stop Centre North Goa / SCAN Goa).
The faculty in charge of the cell, Mr Roshant Parwar, was present for the same.
The event was organised by the Cell in charge, Ms Jinu Ponnachan, and the Deputy in charge, Ms Kreanne Diniz. It was an interactive session wherein the students were given various scenarios and asked about their responses.
They were also shown various video clips to educate them on the topic.
The students raised various questions in regard to the applicability of the act.
