CANACONA: In a series of inauguration of Hotmix Road Works, Speaker and Canacona MLA launches black-topping of internal roads of Shristhal and Gaondongrim villages in Canacona Constituency on Monday.
In the first of the many inaugurations, Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly and MLA of Canacona Ramesh Tawadkar inaugurated the Hotmixing of internal roads in Gulem of V.P. Shristhal, in the Canacona Constituency. The brief ceremony took place in the presence of the Sarpanch Sejal Gaonkar, Ward Panch and most of the Panch Members and villagers.
‘This development marks a major step towards enhanced infrastructure and smoother connectivity for the people of Gulem’, stated Tawadkar.
At Gaondongrim village, the much-awaited resurfacing work of the road from Government High School, Shristhal-Gaondongrim to Monem Junction in V.P. Gaondongrim has officially commenced, with the inauguration by Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar. ‘This major infrastructure upgrade aims to enhance connectivity and improve road conditions for local residents’, stated Tawadkar.
In addition to this, the internal roads of Ziltawadi, Satorlim, and Talem were also inaugurated, further contributing to the development of the region. It is stated that at Ziltawadi, from where Tawadkar claims to have made the beginning of his political ambition is left with another 700 mtr for restructuring and hotmixing works.
Panch Vinita Gaonkar, village Budhvont Teemu Gaonkar, BJP Canaocna Mandal President Prabhakar Gaonkar, Canacona PWD (Roads) AE and Junior Engineers were also present at the hot-mixing inaugural function.
