Porvorim: Concerns over safety have intensified in Porvorim after yet another burglary was reported, marking the third major robbery in the area within a short span of time.
According to sources, thieves recently targeted a villa located at Socorro Zoswaddo, just days after a major robbery was reported in a large gated residential complex in Porvorim. The house was locked at the time of the incident as the owners were away.
Sources said the burglars allegedly broke into the villa and escaped with valuables. They also reportedly removed the CCTV recording unit, apparently in an attempt to destroy evidence. The exact nature and value of the stolen items have not yet been disclosed.
This latest incident has added to growing unease among local residents, who are increasingly worried about recurring thefts in the area. Police have begun an investigation into the matter and are working to identify those involved.
