MARGAO: The Margao Additional Sessions Court has dismissed the petition pleading to cancel bails granted to Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Bombay.
Samrat Bhagat, a resident of Nagarsem, Canacona had filed a petition in the sessions court, Margao seeking cancelled of bail granted to model turned actor Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Bombay.
Model-actor Poonam Pandey and her husband, filmmaker Sam Bombay, were arrested by the Goa Police for allegedly trespassing on government property and shooting an ‘obscene’ video at a dam in the Canacona town of South Goa.
The couple was granted bail the same day.
Poonam and Sam were out on a bail bond of Rs 20,000 each. They were given bail by the judicial magistrate first class, Canacona.
A case was registered against Poonam on the basis of a complaint by the state water resources department, which manages the Chapoli Dam, where the video was shot.
Superintendent of Police (South) Pankaj Kumar Singh had told reporters that she and Sam “sneaked” into the area in the early hours on October 31 and shot a short video
